This week two cheetah cubs at the National Zoo will meet the U.S. Olympic sprinters that they were named after.
According to the zoo, Carmelita Jeter and Justin Gatlin—who won silver and bronze medals, respectively—will be at the zoo this Thursday between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to meet the two cheetah cubs that took their names in the wake of their Olympic performances.
We’re praying for it, but we recognize that Carmelita and Justin won’t likely race Carmelita and Justin.
