Everyone has had at least one run-in with a less-than-friendly Metrobus driver at some point, but one particularly irate driver recently pissed off the wrong person.

WTOP reports that a Metrobus driver aggressively drove towards political reporter Mark Segraves as he was trying to parallel park his car and then flashed a lewd gesture at him. Understandably pissed off, Segraves, who’s also a crack reporter known for doggedly hunting down stories, took after the bus on foot, boarding it at the next stop as his iPhone video recorder ran. Here’s what happened next:

The video shows Segraves repeatedly asking the operator, “What is your name?” The driver hides her name tag and eventually takes it off. The operator then closes the door behind Segraves and starts driving the bus with other passengers on board.

“You can call me Miss Metro,” the operator then says.

“Can I get off your bus?” he asks. “You are not going to let me off your bus?”

“You can get off at the next stop,” she says.

Segraves admits that this was the first time that something of this sort had happened to him, and the shock motivated him to report it. As a consequence, Miss Metro is currently on administrative leave as the incident is investigated. Additionally, Metro officials say they’re looking at the onboard camera for clues on what happened and to produce some “coachable moments.”

Perhaps the most significant coachable moment is not to do something that might embarrass you or the transit agency you work for—especially if caught on camera. Because, well, you never know when that person with a camera works for one of the region’s most popular radio stations.
