The lunch rush has passed, but if you’re interested in picking up an early dinner, the Boston-based burrito chain Boloco opened its downtown D.C. location today at 1028 19th Street NW. Until 7 p.m., eager burrito eaters can get a free small or mini-sized burrito, while “original” sized burritos go for $1.

Boloco’s lineup of “globally inspired” burritos include flavors like Memphis barbecue, tikka masala and buffalo. There’s also a smoothie named for former President Jimmy Carter. Whatever.

Anyway, free burritos. Also, an excuse to post this:
