It’s an epic day over at the Wilson Building, where the D.C. Council is slowly working its way through two sessions and over 80 bills—Uber! Speed camera fines! Parking! Liquor laws! Self-driving cars!—that need to be voted on today. So far, the legislators are still only meeting in the Committee of the Whole, slowly adding bills to the list of those to be considered in the legislative session to follow.

At some point this afternoon, someone started passing out a piece of paper to people watching in the chamber. But this wasn’t just any piece of paper, but rather a game of Legislative Bingo in which every box featured something that you’re likely to see and hear at most council hearings. If you manage to get five in a row, the instructions say, you’re to yell “Mendo!”, after the nickname used for D.C. Council Chair Phil Mendelson.

If you want to play along, just log on to the council’s website and watch. No rush, though—the council will likely remain in session late into the night.
