Living in a large city, there is no shortage of bands popping up. The Young Rapids aren’t just another D.C. band. The four-piece art-rockers have been kicking around for a couple of years, but only finally released their debut album Day Light Savings, and it is one of the best local albums of the year. Today’s Song of the Day, “Dime Piece” is a tropical track infused with pounding drums, and multi-tracked harmonies.
