On the way down to the inauguration this morning, I noticed an interesting re-purposing of Metrobuses: they’re being used as security measures along roads leading east towards the National Mall. The two buses pictured above blocked Constitution Avenue at 17th Street NW, and buses similarly blocked east-west roads along 19th Street NW.
