You’re certain to miss the Metro at some point. But a connection?

Psychology Today says so, reporting in its January/February issue that missed connections in the nation’s capital are most likely to happen on Metro. For Virginia, most missed connections take place at the gym, while in Maryland they happen in the park. In West Virginia, it’s Walmart; in Pennsylvania, the convenience store (Wawa or Sheetz?).

The findings were culled from a review of missed connections ads posted on Craigslist. Nationally, the study also found that most missed connections were posted by men seeking women—59 percent. Women seeking men only came in at 13 percent, while men seeking men accounted for 27 percent of all postings.
