Here’s your Friday “aww” and future “ahh!”: One of the Sumatran tiger cubs born at the National Zoo this month was taped acting like a real tough guy to its trainer. An adorable, fuzzy tough guy.

From the Zoo:

[Mom] Damai had the choice of going outside or visiting with [dad] Kavi this morning. After a brief walk outside she came back in and spent some quality time with him. Since she moved the cubs yesterday we took the opportunity to take out the hay that she gave birth on and put in new clean bedding. The cubs are getting quite used to keepers’ presence. One fell asleep today during training. The other reminded the keeper that it was all tiger!

Who does this cub think he (or she. We don’t know yet!) is, making cute noises like that? Doesn’t he (or she!) know that it just makes us want to cuddle it until it rips our faces off?
