Curbside Cupcakes, the mobile pastry delivery company, will open its first physical location on Capitol Hill this fall.

The cupcakery will open in the former Crepes on the Corner space at 257 15th Street SE later this year. A representative from Curbside Cupcakes confirms that they will move into the space this fall, but didn’t have any further details to provide. They’re “still in the planning stages,” the representative said.

Curbside, which now has a stand at Union Market in Northeast, indicated on Twitter that the space would be more than just a kitchen for cupcake baking.

News that Curbside was coming to Capitol Hill was first reported on the New Hill East listserv, where cupcake fatigue was in full display: “Cupcakes? Can’t wait to let all of my friends on MySpace and Friendster know.”
