Not to be upstaged by the birth of panda Butterstick II, who really does look like a stick of butter at the moment, the National Zoo has released photos of their two new Sumatran tiger cubs getting their first checkup. Warning: The cuteness will overload your system and may render you incapable of working.

The three-week-old cubs passed their first exam “with roaring colors,” the Zoo said in a release. One cub is male and weighs eight pounds, while the other is female and weighs seven-and-a-half pounds.

“During the exam the cubs received transponder microchips, and veterinarians collected blood and fecal samples from them,” the Zoo said of tigers Damai and Kavi’s latest additions. “Veterinarians and keepers report the cubs are healthy, plump and growing quickly.”

So when will the little tigers have names? A spokeswoman from the National Zoo says she’s looking into the matter and will report back when she knows.

Update: The National Zoo’s Devin Murphy says, “They will likely be named by a sponsor(s) who have helped raise funds for critical tiger conservation, education and enrichment projects.”
