>> In 2012, Belgian keyboardist Wim Leysen teamed up with the American rhythm section of bassist Adam Neely and drummer Shawn Crowder to form Inside//Outside. >> Vocalist Sharon Clark has recently taken to putting classic soul and pop material from the ’60s and ’70s into a jazz context. She will present her take on these favorites on Friday at Jazz Night in Southwest with the help of a group of local veterans that includes pianist Chris Grasso, drummer Lenny Robinson, bassist Tommy Cecil and saxophonist Paul Carr. 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets $5.

>> The Westminster Presbyterian Church, home of Jazz Night in Southwest, presents a different take on the great Louis Armstrong this Saturday. The program, Thinking About Jazz: The Wonderful World & Art of Louis Armstrong, will be presented by Louis Armstrong House Museum archivist, Ricky Riccardi. >> Saxophonist Brad Linde is a prolific performer who leads his own bands, co-founded the Bohemian Caverns Jazz Orchestra and curates the jazz series at the Atlas.
