After this morning’s Metro train derailment shut down the Red Line between the Fort Totten and NoMa-Gallaudet stations and generally made the morning commute a total nightmare, a bit of good news is on the horizon: The stations will be back to normal for the afternoon commute!

“We’ll be back to normal Red Line services between Fort Totten and NoMa-Gallaudet in time for the afternoon rush hour today,” Philip Stewart, a spokesperson for WMATA, told DCist over the phone.

Now you can go back to enjoying your Friday afternoon instead of dreading the commute home.

Update: Service has been fully restored as of 1:35 p.m.
