If you were riding on a Blue or Yellow Line train this morning, chances are you are not a happy camper right now.
Both lines were experiencing heavy delays this morning because of single-tracking between the Braddock Road and National Airport stations due to a overnight rail installation that was late to clear, Metro spokesman Dan Stessel says. According to Stessel, all personnel were clear as of 9:30 a.m. and trains were moving normally on both tracks shortly thereafter, though there were some minor residual delays.
Still, a lot of people were none too happy this morning:
