Metropolitan Police have made an arrest in connection to a homicide in Southeast D.C. last weekend.

Last Saturday, officers responded to reports of gunshots at the 1200 block of Eaton Road SE at about 12:27 a.m. When they arrived they found an adult male, 35-year-old Derrick Eugene Williams suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital where he eventually succumbed to his injuries.

Police arrested 25-year-old Gregory Allen Green yesterday at about 9:15 a.m. in connection to the shooting. The D.C. Superior Court is charging him with first degree felony murder while armed.
