Metro Transit Police announced yesterday that they arrested a woman who allegedly stabbed a Metro station manager at the Stadium-Armory station.
On March 15 at about 11:45 a.m. the MTP were called to the Stadium-Armory station for a report that a station manager had been stabbed by a female after a fare dispute. The woman, 20-year-old Melissa Langley, was captured on video and arrested yesterday.
The Post reports that she asked the station manager is she could walk onto the platform without a fare card and, when he said no, she spit on him. This led to an altercation between her and the station manager during which she stabbed him with a steak knife.
The station manager was transported to a nearby hospital and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
