Classes were interrupted at an Alexandria school this morning when a military helicopter made an emergency landing nearby.
The U.S. Air Force helicopter experienced mechanical difficulties before landing in the 5700 block of Sanger Ave., Alexandria Police said. No injuries were reported.
School officials said the chopper landed near the playing fields at William Ramsay Elementary school.
