Nine people have been taken to the hospital this morning after a Metrobus was involved in a crash at the intersection of 13th Street and Alabama Avenue Southeast

A driver appeared to run through a red light, striking the bus around 8:25 a.m., according to a Metro spokesman. Nine people were taken to the hospital for minor injuries, DC Fire and EMS said.
