Bei Bei is outside doing stuff again and the National Zoo caught it on tape. This time, the zoo’s baby panda climbed a tree and got down safely with the help of his mom, Mei Xiang.

Last week, the zoo showed Bei Bei venturing outside for the first time with mama bear by his side. This came a day after we learned he was eating solid foods—maybe those sweet potatoes were just what he needed to conquer the great outdoors.

With snow in tonight’s forecast, perhaps we’re in store for some more powdery-panda pics.
