The shortest wait times on Metrorail this weekend will be along the Silver Line, which will run trains every 10 minutes between Wiehle-Reston East and Ballston stations.

Meanwhile, SafeTrack’s 10th surge has shut down Brookland and Rhode Island Avenue stations. This means that the Red Line trains are running two segments—between Glenmont and Fort Totten every 15 minutes and between Shady Grove and NoMa-Gallaudet every 12 to 15 minutes. Metro is providing shuttle buses between NoMa-Gallaudet U and Fort Totten that make stops at the shuttered stations.

The rest of the system will run even slower—Orange, Blue, Yellow, and Green Line trains will operate every 20 minutes due to cable installations and other maintenance work.
