With five times more charter buses arriving in D.C. today for the Women’s March on Washington than yesterday’s inauguration, there’s a good chance that the event’s attendance won’t mirror the sparse turnouts for President Trump’s celebrations.

As such, D.C. is preparing for massive crowds by extending most transit systems around town. But there are a few closures, such as Federal Triangle Metro station and the D.C. Circulator’s National Mall route.

The Women’s March on Washington begins with a 10 a.m. rally at 3rd Street and Independence Avenue SW. And demonstrators are slated to leave that site and start walking at 1:15 p.m.

Here’s some transportation info you should know if you’re going to the march, or elsewhere in D.C. today (there are also several transportation apps that are worth downloading):

Metrorail
Metro has closed Federal Triangle station “due to security and logistical considerations.”

The closest stations to the march’s gathering point is Federal Center SW, however, Metro is encouraging people get arrive at L’Enfant Plaza or Capitol South and walk a bit longer to avoid crowding.

Metro is also adding two dozen additional trains today to prepare for crowds. There’s no scheduled weekend maintenance, and trains will run on an “enhanced Saturday schedule,” which means trains will arrive every four to six minutes at all downtown stations.

Metrobus
Metrobus will operate on a regular Saturday schedule. However, nearly two dozen routes serving the downtown area will detour, split, or end earlier than normal.

D.C. Streetcar
The D.C. Streetcar will service the H Street Corridor until 2 a.m. on Sunday. March attendees who arrive at the RFK stadium parking lot are encouraged to board at the streetcar’s Oklahoma Avenue NE stop, ride to Union Station, and walk from there.

DC Circulator
The D.C. Circulator, which runs every 10 minutes, will not operate its National Mall route. But the Georgetown to Union Station and Dupont Circle to Georgetown-Rosslyn routes will run as normal until 3 a.m., and the Woodley Park-Adams Morgan to McPherson Square route will also run until 3:30 a.m.

Capital Bikeshare
Capital Bikeshare is reopening stations in phases downtown and near the National Mall, so check the bikeshare’s site before heading out. Capital Bikeshare has a corral at 4th Street and E Street SW until 5:00 p.m. And a bike valet will be available at 10th Street and Independence Avenue SW.
