Police say a 62-year-old man raped a non-verbal and immobile female resident at a nursing home in Montgomery County, according to WJLA, which first reported the assault today.
Staff at the Kensington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center say they found the victim with her diaper off and Stanley Thomas seated on her bed on April 2, the news outlet reports.
Thomas, who was also a resident at the facility, allegedly admitted to police that he sexually assaulted the woman for about 10 minutes, according to WJLA. He told officials that he stuck his tongue into her mouth and he “could tell she liked it.” Thomas also told police he’d committed a similar crime to this woman last year.
He’s facing second-degree rape and two other sexual offense charges that could land him up to 51 years in prison.
