If you were heartbroken by the story of the D.C.-born Sumatran tiger cub who flew yesterday to San Diego after his mother rebuffed him, switch out your tears of sadness for those of delight.

The 9-week old cub met its new foster brother, a Bengal tiger cub discovered lying on the floor of a 2017 Chevy Camaro by U.S. Customs and Border Protection at a border entry between California and Mexico on August 23. Keepers estimate the Bengal tiger is about 7 weeks old.

According to a release from the San Diego Zoo, “the cubs took to each other immediately, and interacted by wrestling, jumping, and engaging in a lot of friendly roughhousing—things tiger cubs do.” For the next day, keepers will be supervising the cubs closely. Barring any issues, the lucky folks of San Diego will then be able to peep the cubs at the nursery window of the Safari Park.
