Voters can drop off their ballots at the ballot drop-off location at their county’s Board of Elections headquarters. This can be done in lieu of mailing in the ballot.

In an election year that will look like no other because of the coronavirus pandemic, we wanted to show you one option for voting in D.C., Maryland and Virginia: vote by mail.

The process of filling out your ballot properly before sending it back to your local board of elections can be challenging and, if done wrong, your ballot won’t be counted.
