Two of the most storied clubs in European soccer met at FedEx Field last night, as Manchester United prevailed over Inter Milan before a crowd of 61,238.

The Park Police may have been the first to stifle Barcelona, but Manchester United was certainly more than up to the challenge, too.

FC Barcelona plays the best football on the face of the planet. And given their deep focus on the beautiful game, we can forgive Xavi and company from not keeping up with the recent spats involving the Park Police in the District. The Park Police, of course, was happy to bring them up to speed.

Steve Goff reports that tickets for the highly anticipated-friendly will go on sale via Ticketmaster at 9 a.m. that day. They’ll also cost you a pretty penny — the worst seats in the house will set attendees back $40 a pop.
