Two marshals shot and a killed a man in his early 20s while attempting to arrest him, according to Police Chief Robert Contee.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for D.C. announced Thursday that it is not pressing charges against Lt. Jason Bagshaw, who killed 23-year-old Lazarus Wilson last summer.

The family of the man who was killed disputes some details of the investigation and plans to bring a civil lawsuit.
