Going Out Gurus chat, and choosing its main bartender as the Entertainment Guide’s Bartender of the Month for August.
DCist’s curiosity was officially piqued, so we did a bit more research into what Hahn calls “arguably Washington’s hottest bar scene.” (The West End Guide says the Blue Gin staff looks like it was purchased out of a “Calvin Klein catalogue.”) Turns out, many people probably won’t be hitting up Blue Gin anytime soon. There’s a 25-and-over rule, a $10 cover charge on weekends to go along with the $10+ specialty cocktails, and a dress code and a VIP section upstairs. Boo hoo, Blue Gin, for being so hip and exclusive!
