The fall TV season kicks into high gear with the premiere of Jack & Bobby tonight at 9 p.m. on the WB. The political drama genre was becoming sparse on network television with just The West Wing, but now the city’s politicos and C-SPAN junkies have another show they can call their own. (One of the show’s co-creators, Brad Meltzer, is the author of the Capitol Hill bestseller “The Zero Game.”)

The drama details the coming of age of the two McCallister brothers, Jack and Bobby, one of whom is destined to be President of the United States in 2040. The show flashes between present day, where the young Prez-to-be navigates his way through high school, and the future, with documentary-style interviews of the future McCallister Administration.
