VA Slugs Oppose Toll Lanes: The complex world of Virginia commuting has taken an interesting twist, with slugs speaking up as a forceful lobby against plans to construct high-occupancy toll lanes on many major highways, the Post reports. The slugs fear the lanes will decrease use of the High Occupancy Vehicle lanes, causing the estimated 35,000 slugs daily to drive.
