Record Month for Speed Cameras: The W. Times continues their vigilant coverage of the city’s speed camera program, reporting that May saw a record amount of fines collected: $2.58 million.

Two Shooting Deaths Near Nightclubs Saturday: One man was killed and another wounded after a shooting outside a Shaw nightclub Saturday, the Post and NBC4 reports. The incident caused Councilmember Jim Graham to renew his request, also made by the neighborhood association, that the city revoke the club’s liquor license. In an email constituents, Councilmember Graham said a Maryland man was shot and critically wounded in the 2400 block of 18th Street in Adams Morgan.
