The local press is occupied this morning with news of a shooting that took place near the Christian Tabernacle Church of God at 10th and V Streets in NW, around 6:00 this morning. The victim, a man, was pronounced dead at Howard University Hospital, and police continue to investigate. Officers are apparently looking for silver car, reported to have Virginia plates reading “JZG5667,” and which could be a Nissan or a Honda.
