Another story from NBC 4 worth reprinting, title and all:

CAMP SPRINGS, Md. — Prince George’s County Animal Control officers were called to the area of Andrews Air Force Base in Camp Springs Thursday afternoon to search for a large cat.

Animal control Chief Rodney Taylor said a woman at the base reported seeing the large cat — possibly the size of a mountain lion or a large dog — run on to the base near the main entrance along Allentown Road. Another sighting also was reported to authorities.

Military police and Prince George’s County police are assisting in the search.

People in the area were told to stay indoors as a precaution, and three elementary schools — Francis T. Evans, Princeton and Skyline — have dismissed. Children who walk to those schools are being held inside.

Apparently work has been slow for Tony the Tiger these days, and he’s taken to wandering the streets of random towns.
