Monday
>> Call it jazz, call it moods; we call it fun. DCIC and The Evens are at Fort Reno tonight. 7 p.m., Free.

>> It’s another solid Monday night at the Black Cat’s Backstage with Let’s French and These United States (a band that shares members with Three Stars alumni The Apparitions). 9 p.m., $6.

>> Tickets are still available to catch our favorite moody songstress, Fiona Apple, at Wolftrap tonight. A little feminine angst under the stars, doesn’t that sound nice? 8 p.m., $25-$75.

Tuesday
Sleater-Kinney’s victory lap on a career of sometimes great, sometimes just plain loud music winds through the 9:30 Club. Craigslist may be able to let you in to this sold out show, the last we’re likely to see from this legendary group. 7:30 p.m. doors.

>> Go ahead. Go to Wolftrap tonight. We won’t tell anybody we saw you there, dancing to Guster, making out to Ray LaMontagne, or singing along with Rogue Wave. $25 to $36.

>> As if choosing between those two shows weren’t hard enough, Warehouse Nextdoor has The Apes and Oneida at 8:30 p.m. Those of you without Sleater-Kinney tickets just don’t have a right to complain tonight with these sorts of options.
