UPDATE: Newsday is confirming at least four fatalities, and CNN is now reporting that the single engine plane took off from Teterboro, NJ and may have belonged to New York Yankees pitcher Cory Lidle. There are also reports that the pilot, presumably Lidle, made a mayday call shortly before he crashed, regarding a fuel line problem. This news, along with eyewitness reports that the plane was flying erratically before it crashed, continue to suggest that this was a terrible accident and not related to terrorism.
