Voting Rights Supporters Asked to Call Senators: We already mentioned it yesterday, but it’s worth a reminder: DC Vote is asking you to participate in a National Call-In Day for Voting Rights today. Call 1-866-346-3008 toll-free between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., and you will be offered some talking points and then be patched through to their senators — District residents will be put through to Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). There will also be a rally on tomorrow from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in front of the Hart and Dirksen Senate Office Buildings.

Rhee has repeatedly promised to have all vacant principal jobs filled before the start of the school year.
