Eric D. Foreman, who only turned 17 last week, took a .38-caliber handgun — which police believe had been used less than 24 hours earlier in another gang-related shooting — and used it to gun down Neil Godleski on August 22 as he rode his bicycle in Petworth. So say court documents released yesterday, which allege that Foreman fired multiple shots at Godleski as he rode his bicycle, then coldly approached the 31-year-old, firing two more shots at close range. Foreman was jailed yesterday without bond on first degree murder charges; he told police that the shooting was a part of a robbery attempt. So what did Foreman take away? Sixty measly bucks.
