Three people, including D.C. Shadow Senator Michael D. Brown, were arrested this afternoon by Capitol Police during a protest outside the Hart Senate Office Building. Police arrested the three after they mimicked Monday evening’s protest, sitting down in the middle of Second Street NE. Approximately 60 other protesters participated in the demonstration, in which they wore gags and pointed at the office of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV). Mayor Vince Gray addressed the group and lent his support to the protest before the demonstration got underway.
