Brittany Norwood, the woman accused of brutally killing her coworker Jayna Murray inside the Lululemon store on Bethesda Avenue in March, will go to trial in October.

Prosecutors said during a court hearing this morning that they plan to introduce a barrage of forensic evidence linking Norwood with the crime; Norwood allegedly bludgeoned and stabbed Murray to death because Murray had discovered stolen merchandise in Norwood’s purse. Norwood, who has been sitting in jail awaiting movement in the case, still has to fully complete competency tests before the trial begins.

The Lululemon store where Murray was found dead recently reopened.
