UPDATE: The woman has reportedly recanted, saying she was in a fight at her home instead of being injured on WMATA property.

ORIGINAL POST: A woman was slashed outside the entrance to the Huntington Metrorail station after this morning’s rush hour subsided. According to reports, the woman suffered an injury to her hand around 10:50 a.m. after being accosted by one or two robbers near the Yellow Line station. Authorities are searching for two suspects in connection with the robbery.
