D.C. police are investigating the death of a man who was found fatally shot inside a car on Capitol Hill early Monday morning.

Officers discovered the victim sitting in the driver’s seat of a car parked on the 1200 block of C Street NE about 2:06 a.m., according to Officer Anthony Clay, a Metropolitan Police Department spokesman. The victim, described only as an adult male, was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Clay says police are looking for two suspects, both black males about six feet tall and with heavy builds. One of the suspects was wearing a white shirt with dark sleeves at the time of the shooting, Clay says.

The make and model of the vehicle in which the victim was found has not been identified, and police are still notifying the deceased’s next of kin.

UPDATE, 12 p.m.: Police have identified the victim as Jason Anthony Emma, 28, of Northeast D.C., Officer Tisha Gant, a department spokeswoman, says.
