A D.C. man was saved from a bullet by his wallet and cellphone.
As WUSA9 and the Post report, the man was sitting on his front porch in the 300 block of Adams Street NE on Sunday night when the shooting occurred. “The bullet struck the complainant’s cellphone and wallet, preventing him from being shot in the stomach,” a police report obtained by the Post says.
Indeed, the man was uninjured. No one has been charged with the crime.
