After a glitch in the online reservation system caused confusion about the dates available for passes to the African American History and Culture Museum, the Smithsonian is re-releasing them on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m.

People jumped online on Monday to get their free tickets for January, February, and March of 2017. The online reservation portal, however, only showed dates for October, November, and December—all of which are long sold out. After selecting a date this fall, visitors were then issued passes for days between January and March.

The Smithsonian is contacting the folks who now hold 64,000 passes for the first months of 2017, offering the, the chance to return or exchange them for another date/time during that period. The museum will then re-release tickets for January, February, and March at 9 a.m. tomorrow. You can try to snag them online or by calling 1-866-297-402

Visitors can also attempt to get same-day passes. They are distributed for the day beginning at 9:15 a.m. and given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
