D.C. police have released surveillance footage of a man shooting a victim on a Tuesday evening along the H Street Corridor.

In the video, the suspect runs toward the victim and appears to fire multiple times on the 800 block of 9th Street NE. He then ran away from the scene as the victim lays, arms and legs spread, on the ground.

The shooting took place around 8:25 p.m. on April 12.

The victim survived the incident with non life-threatening injuries, according to a release from the Metropolitan Police Department. Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the gunman in the video.

MPD offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who gives information that leads to the arrest and conviction of people responsible for shootings in the city. Anyone with a tip in this case can call 202-727-9099 or text 50411.

Police plan to charge the gunman with assault with intent to kill.
