Theater Archive Moves to U.Md.: This year the University of Maryland will take ownership of the Washington Area Performing Arts Video Archive (WAPAVA), a collection of over “400 video recordings of Washington area theater performances dating back to 1993.” The transfer was planned because the creator, James J. Taylor, is ill, however the University plans to continue his life’s work.
