Duck Watch Begins at Treasury: Remember the expectant duck nesting outside the Treasury Department that captured the heart of all America? Well, those eggs may be hatching this week, the AP, via WJLA, reports. We can already hear the ooohs and ahhhs coming from the area, but unfortunately, the view from the nearest DDOT camera, seen here at 15th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, is turned away from the duck’s security perimeter. If the world can look for white smoke through a trained television camera, certainly CNN, Fox and MSNBC can get permission to set up a duck watch camera outside the White House.

… And of Bad Ones, Too: Out in Prince George’s County courtroom, the manager of rapper The Game (as seen in this Rap Fanatic magazine cover) is sought for trial for an incident of second-degree assault at the Lanham studios of WKYS radio. James Rosemond, The Game’s manager, didn’t have the calmest of reactions to an apparent joke when he “pounded on” WKYS DJ Zxulu, aka Richard Dunkerson, according to the Post.

Dunkerson made a joke about Rosemond’s cell phone earpiece. The lawsuit says Dunkerson made a hand gesture made famous on the TV series “Star Trek” that means “live long and prosper.”

To make matters worse, 50 Cent “rubbed emotional salt” in the wounds of The Game over the incident by crafting a very special song. The Game too faces an assault charge from the incident and a $280,000 civil suit, according to AllHipHop.com.
