Ahhhh, almost 60 degree weather in January. Could there be anything wrong with that? Anything? Well, beyond the fact that the human race may fast be approaching a tipping point at which global warming and its impacts will be irreparable, one really can’t complain much.

This week, we celebrated Georgetown’s defeat of basketball powerhouse Duke, debated chatty cab drivers, and said goodbye to “The West Wing.”

We discussed the extension of the Yellow Line, gauged the impact of lobbying reform on the District, and re-exposed our carpetbagger of a Miss District of Columbia.

We cooked up some tasty duck rolls, pondered a D.C. Olympic team, and wondered what the new voice for Metro would sound like.

We eavesdropped a little more, welcomed the mayor’s blog back to life, and advocated saving the Heurich House.

We listened to Sara Kryscio, Hello Tokyo, Mike Holden, and Ris Paul Ric.

Picture snapped by a nameless yeast.
