>> Congratulations to local rising stars Le Loup for getting signed to Hardly Art, a new label under Sub Pop “focused on offering quality records for people to enjoy”. You’ll learn more about the band and their rapid success when they’re featured in this month’s Three Stars series. Since then, cafe owner Glenn Gormley says he’s received numerous death threats for causing the cancellation of several shows on the bands’ tour.
>> The good news: A local Domino’s Pizza manager won the award for “World’s Fastest Pizza Maker” at the Domino’s Pizza’s Worldwide Rally in Las Vegas, completing three large pizzas in 49.1 seconds. The bad news: All three pizzas were from Domino’s.
