We mentioned it in this morning’s Roundup, but a helpful tipster just sent over the official complaint made in D.C. Superior Court yesterday against Brandon Miller, who was arrested and charged with murder after Tuesday’s shooting on U Street. The complaint includes the police narrative of the incident. In the narrative, Miller claims that he gave a ride to two men, who he only knew by first name, to the intersection of 13th and U Streets NW on Tuesday. After dropping the two men off, Miller told police that he heard gunshots, and that the two men got back in the car — at that point, Miller said he sped off and dropped the two men back at his house.
Miller also claimed to police that the cache of weapons that investigators found in his home — two handguns, an AK-47, a Tech machine gun and a shotgun — would not match shell casings that police found at the scene of the shooting. The full text of the complaint is below.
