>> Regarding the oversold CYHSY shows at Rock and Roll Hotel, an announcement from the venue: A 3rd show with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah has been added for Monday November 19th at the Rock and Roll Hotel. They will be supported by Montreal’s Malajube on the date. The 100 fans whose tickets were being refunded due to an oversell mistake by the Rock and Roll Hotel will have the first opportunity to get tickets for the 3rd show. A public on-sale date is set for Friday October 12 at 10 a.m. Tickets previously bought for the headlining Malajube date on November 19th will be honored on this date as well.
>> In case you were wondering what that helicopter was doing over the Capitol earlier, the U.S. Capitol Police sent out this email: “Earlier helicopter activity south of the House Office Buildings was related to the pursuit of a vehicle wanted in Prince Georges County, Maryland in connection with an incident in which shots were fired. The helicopter operated by Metropolitan Police Department and other units from that department, made an apprehension on D Street, SE. The incident is under control.”
