Bike Trail Specifics Disputed: The Metropolitan Branch Trail, a planned bike path connecting a new trail in the District with the already existent Capital Crescent Trail is funded – but has hit a variety of snags, the Examiner reports. The Washington Area Bicyclist Association fears budget considerations and conflicts over jurisdiction will mean the trail will “just get pieced together” and omit key safety provisions.
Pay Your Tickets: In the latest installment in one of the most durable stories of the summer, the D.C. DMV announced today that tickets can be paid at their office at 301 C St. NW, the Post reports. Their K Street office closed August 8 due to ventilation problems.
